Nestle Will Release Plant-Based ‘Incredible Burger’ Next Spring
2 days ago
Plant-based meat alternative brands Beyond Meat and Impossible Foods have seen much success in 2018. With vegan food trending, they have only continued expanding with Beyond Meat adding more proteins and the Impossible patties arriving in grocery stores in 2019. Seeing the success of vegan products, other big companies have been wanting to cash in on plant-based foods as well. Pepsi Co’s Quaker company will be launching an oat milk line, and non-vegan brands like Archer Farms and Ben & Jerry‘s have been releasing vegan flavors.
Now Nestle, the giant Swiss company that owns brands like Maggi, Coffee-Mate, Stouffers, and much more is planning to release a vegan patty that they predict will be wildly successful. Next Spring, they plan to release the ‘Incredible Burger.’ It will rival the already successful Beyond Meat and Impossible patties. According to Laurent Freixe of Nestle, their “plant-based business may reach more than 1 billion francs ($1 billion) in sales within a decade.”
That is how valuable plant-based food is! The demand for vegan alternatives is incredibly high right now and only expected to grow more in 2019.
