Combining safety training with ergonomic changes could help workers avoid occupational pain, a new Australian study has found.
UBC injury prevention researcher Judy Village, who wasn’t involved in the study, commented that it’s important for workers to be aware of and interested in injury prevention.
“If they are unaware of the problem, providing solutions is likely to be ineffective,” Village said.
